Seven teams from Pella competed in the Odyssey of the Mind State Competition recently, with two local groups qualifying to represent Iowa at World Finals. The following students are heading to the world competition from Pella:

Division One Teams
1st Place State Finalist Team (Advancing to Worlds) – Emma Flanders, Ethan Flanders, Joeley Helle, Ben O’Halloran and Issac Van Vark. Coach – Kayla Flanders

Division Two Teams
2nd Place State Finalist Team (Advancing to Worlds) – Joshua Adolfson, Nicolas Adolfson, Jake Brenzier, Ronin Dennill and Tucker Dunsbergen. Coach – Maria Lao

This year’s World competition will be held May 22 -25 on the campus of Michigan State University, with over 875 teams from over 20 countries coming together.
