The Pleasantville Track and Field Squads were on the Blue Oval Thursday for the first day of the State Track and Field Meet. Both Kasey Pelzer and Triston Mount ran their respective 100 meter races. Pelzer in the girls class 2A race stopped the clock in 13.09 for 13th place while Mount in the boys races placed 21st with a time of 11.73. Neither would qualify for the finals. The Trojan girls shuttle hurdle relay team of Sayde Mull, Jordan Dursky, Sam Entinger, and Kennedy Pelzer laid down a time of 1:15.69 good enough for 23rd place. The Trojans had one field events as Cale Anthony in the boys shot put finished 16th with a toss of 47 feet nine inches. Pleasantville will be all about the relay events as the girls 4×100 and 200 teams will take to the Blue Oval today.
