For the second time this season, the Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad went to Creston and for the second time came away with a 1-0 win over the other Panthers. This time, however, it was on penalty kicks the match was scoreless after regulation and two overtimes. Carly Still had the game winner after ten rounds of penalty kicks finally put the Panthers over the top. Freshman Goalkeeper Abby Wadle made nine saves for the Panthers who improve to 13-3 on the season and have won 12 matches in a row. The boys won, but with nowhere near the drama in a 9-0 drubbing of Centerville. Elliott Schmidt and Cooper VanHauen both had two goals with Sam Wadle, Matt Brown, Kyle Davis and Kaleb Rowland scoring goals. The Panthers even got an own goal in the mix. Knoxville is now 11-4 and will play PCM in the first round of the sub state on Monday in Oskaloosa.
