The City of Indianola held an open house Wednesday evening, allowing the public to view the preliminary streetscape plan as put together by consultants Bolton and Menk Inc., and the downtown streetscape steering committee. Among the issues talked about at the open house was parking, the conversion from a one-way to a two-way street, and beautification efforts. The preliminary plan will still be under review, and looked at by city staff and the city council in an upcoming work session, before being put to vote at a later date.
