The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. A proclamation was read by Mayor Kelly Shaw regarding the week of May 19th-25th as National Public Works Week, the Council received an update on the Greater Des Moines Convention from City Council member John Parker, and held a public hearing on changes to the Hillcrest/Downtown Unified Urban Renewal Plan. After adjournment, the council and city staff held a work session on the design process of the city comprehensive plan with consultants HR Green.
