The Knoxville Girls Soccer season came to a disappointing end as the Panthers fell to Williamsburg 3-1. Knoxville got off to a 1-0 start on Tuesday but rain and severe weather forced the match to be suspended with 12 minutes remaining in the first half in Williamsburg. The Raiders would score three unanswered goals for the rest of the match after resumption. Emma DeJoode got the only goal for Knoxville. Coach Richhart told KRLS Sports the field was extremely muddy which negated their speed advantage and allowed the Raiders to possess the ball. Knoxville finishes the season at 14-4, which is its best record in program history.
