48 360 sprint cars checked into the pits on Saturday at the Knoxville Raceway. In the end Ryan Giles swept past Thomas Kennedy on a lap 17 restart and took his second victory of the season. Giles told KRLS Sports during a late race red flag, he could see the bottom of the track was the way around leader Thomas Kennedy who he passed in short order after the restart. Terry McCarl pulled away from everyone and dominated the 410 feature. At the outset he and Kerry Madsen had a close battle, but after a yellow Madsen was not nearly as fast. He said after the race he may have ran over something and had a tire going down. For the third time in as many races, Matthew Stelzer took home top honors in the Pro Sprints Class. He led all 15 laps and dominated the race, but only won by about a car length, due to a late race yellow and possible engine issue the last two laps. This Saturday is the final tune up for the World of Outlaws weekend coming up as all three classes will run.
