The Pleasantville Softball Squad went 2-0 at the Bondurant-Farrar Invitational on Saturday. The Trojans fell behind in game one to Alburnett but Sydney McKinney uncorked a grand slam to save the day and put Pleasantville on top in a game the Trojans would win 11-4. Pleasantville had a much easier time of it against Green County in a 13-3 laugher. The Trojans get their first look at their nemesis Des Moines Christian in a West Central Conference game on Monday. Coach Jan Haugen tells KNIA Sports, that yes, his team is out for a little revenge on the Lions this season after losing to them in the postseason the last three years. Pleasantville is currently in a three-way tie for first place in the West Central Conference with a 4-0 record with Earlham and I-35. Des Moines Christian is currently fifth at 2-2.
