A Central College All-American football player has been added to the ballot of the College Football Hall of Fame. The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced the names on the 2020 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, including 101 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks. Al Dorenkamp was a two-team Iowa Conference honoree and was the captain of the Central College football team that won the National Championship in 1974 with a perfect 11-0 record. The ballot was emailed to the more than 12,000 National Football Foundation members and current Hall of Famers whose votes will be tabulated. Only first-team All-Americans are eligible for the prestigious honor.
