On Friday, deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that 45-year-old Andrew Rosenbalm of Pleasantville,a convicted felon, was carrying a firearm and looking for an individual at a residence in the northeast part of rural Pleasantville. According to court documents, upon arrival deputies were informed by two victims who said they were working in a shed when they were approached by Rosenbalm, who was yelling at them in regards to his ex-girlfriend being in the shed. The victims informed Rosenbalm that they did not know his ex-girlfriend and that she had not been in the shed. The victims alleged that Rosenbalm approached them with a firearm in his hand and threatened to shoot them if they were lying. The victims stated they walked away from the shed and told officers Rosenbalm fired two shots from the firearm and continued to threaten them before leaving. Rosenbalm was later taken into custody in Indianola. A search warrant was executed for Rosenbalm’s vehicle, where a crystal like substance was located and field tested positive for Methamphetamine. The firearm was later located at Rosenbalm’s ex-wife’s house in Milo. Rosenbalm told deputies he did not have a firearm and he did not shoot two shots. Rosenbalm has been charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, a class D felony,  going armed with intent, a class D felony, two counts of harassment 1st degree, an aggravated misdemeanor and possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor.
