The P-C-M Baseball Squad got a big non-conference win over Eddyville-Blakesburg 4-2 and scored the four runs in the most unconventional way possible. Rocket pitching struck out the first six PCM batters, in the third the Mustangs loaded the bases with three straight walks, then proceeded to score on a wild pitch, passed ball ,a ground out, and hit by pitch, meaning PCM did not score on single run off a hit and only managed two hits all game. Preston Van Wyk got the win going five innings with Andrew Mitchell the save. The softball Mustangs played 4A power and second ranked Carlisle and fell 11-0. However, the Mustangs were battling with the Wildcats to a 1-0 game until Carlisle pushed across eight runs in the fifth to break the game open. Coach Shaun Hudnut tells KRLS Sports he was proud of how his team fought for five innings. Both PCM squads will take on Nevada tonight.
