
A pair of Bussey residents were arrested Monday following the execution of a search warrant by the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force. According to court documents at the time the warrant was executed a juvenile child was located inside the home without adult supervision. Tierra Lee Chenet, 39 and Kenneth Wayne Chenet, 42, were arrested after a search of their home uncovered one codeine pill, one hydrocodone pill, .2 grams of a crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, and 69 grams of a green plant material which field tested positive for marijuana. Both were charged with failure to affix a drug tax stamp a class D felony, child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor, and multiple possession of controlled substance charges, all serious misdemeanors.
