The Pleasantville Softball Squad took two games from Woodward Granger last night. The Trojans routed the Hawks in game one 15-0 stopping the contest in the fourth inning. The Trojans did most of their damage in the second and fourth innings. Abby DeJoode and Bridgette McKinney both hit home runs and collect a combined six RBI. DeJoode also got the win going all four innings, giving up just one hit and striking out ten. Game two, the Trojans found themselves down 2-0, but quickly regained control with five runs in the second inning. Hannah Gibson hit a home run this time while Amber McKinney piled up three RBI. Faith Vanderhart pitched the distance with four strikeouts. On the baseball diamond, Pleasantville was swept 9-4 and 4-1 in game two. Grant Fouch took the loss in game one, while Aaron Wilkins took the loss in game two. Both Pleasantville squads are off until Saturday in Invitational action.
