The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved the disposal of Lot 4 Block 1 of Conwell’s Addition to the town of Flagler during their regular session meeting Tuesday. They also approved expense appropriations for multiple county departments as well as designated Marion County Bank as the Wellmark, Health Savings Account financial institution. The board also approved a salary adjustment for County Engineer Tyler Christian. Christian proposed a 3% raise to the board, but the board had other ideas as each supervisor took time to share good thoughts on Christian’s work as Engineer.  Supervisor Kisha Jahner summed up the feelings of the board by stating in her time as supervisor she has only received two calls about the roads in Marion County, a testament to the work Christian and his crew do for the county. The board approved a 4% raise for Christian.
