va-cboc

An open house at Knoxville VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic will be held tomorrow. The event which is open to the public will begin at 8am and will last until noon. Maureen Nichols from the VA tells KNIA/KRLS News one of the reasons for the open house is to let the community know the VA clinic is still here. Nichols says she believes people still are not aware the CBOC is here after the closing of the VA campus. The open house is also a chance for local veterans in the community to get more information about VA Health Care. Anyone interested in attending the open house will have the opportunity to tour the facilities, meet the staff and VA leadership, and see live demonstrations of state-of-the art telehealth services. The Knoxville Lions Club will also be serving a free pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
