The Twin Cedars Softball Machine looks to continue its assault on the Bluegrass Conference with a second game against arch-rival Melcher-Dallas. The two teams played in the first week of the season with Twin Cedars getting a 6-2 victory. Since then, the Sabers have leveled nearly every conference team in their wake and the Saints have also caught fire. On the baseball diamond, the Sabers look to pull the sweep this season. Twin Cedars has swiped 57 bases this year, which is third in the Bluegrass Conference. Coach Mark Shroeder tells KRLS Sports they like to be aggressive on the base paths and try to manufacture runs. The baseball game is scheduled to start at five with the softball contest at seven.
