The newly minted #3 ranked in class 2A Pleasantville Softball Squad swept ACGC on Thursday night in games that were closer than what many thought would be as Pleasantville won 7-6 and 11-4. The Chargers took the lead in game one in the first inning and it took the Trojans until the third to get going with five runs pushed across Bridgette McKinney went 3/4 with an RBI. Abby DeJoode got the win going the distance mowing down 15 charger batters. In the nightcap, the Trojans again blew the game open in the fifth inning Makenzie McGriff drove in three runs to lead the Trojan hit parade. Faith Vanderhart got the win pitching four innings.
