The Twin Cedars Softball Squad completed the sweep over arch rival Melcher-Dallas 7-4 in eight innings. Melcher-Dallas jumped on top 2-0 and held it until the sixth when the Sabers pulled ahead 3-2, only to see the Saints tie it and send it to extra innings, then Twin Cedars broke it open in the eight with four runs. Grace Bailey went the distance allowing seven hits, three walks, and five strikeouts, Rylee Dunkin went 3/5. Twin Cedars is now 16-2 and still a perfect 11-0 in Bluegrass Conference play. The Baseball Sabers crushed Melcher-Dallas 11-0. Brock Denburger thew a complete game along just two hits. Dan Beary had three RBIs and a double. Both Sabers squads travel to Orient-Macksburg tonight.
