The Write Place, a local publisher, has announced new ownership. Longtime Manager Alexis Thomas recently purchased the company from Founder Carol Van Klompenburg. Thomas began her career with the Pella-based publishing and design agency in 2005. She holds degrees in both Public Relations and Communication Design from Wartburg College. The Write Place serves both businesses and authors with a wide range of writing and marketing services. The Write Place team will continue to operate from two locations. The Pella headquarters can be found at 809 W. 8th St, while Thomas works from Lakeville, Minn.
