A Pleasantville man was arrested Sunday following an argument that involved a full beer can being thrown at his victim’s face. Forty-six–year-old Jon Bailey was arrested just after midnight Sunday after officers were dispatched to a Pleasantville home following a domestic incident. According to court documents, when officers arrived the victim told them that Bailey had thrown a full beer can at her and hit her in the face near her left eye. Officers observed redness around the victim’s eye. When the officers questioned Bailey he told them that he was tired of her arguing with him so he threw the beer can at her; however he believed the can to be empty. Bailey was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail. A criminal history check showed that Bailey had two prior domestic assault convictions, making this his third or subsequent offense. Bailey was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault 3rd or subsequent offense a class D felony.
