Both Pella and Knoxville know their playoff foes after the Iowa High School Athletic Association released the Class 3A and 4A district baseball assignments.

Pella is in Substate 6 and Knoxville in 7, meaning the two rivals wouldn’t compete unless both made it to the state tournament. Pella is in the same district as Oskaloosa, Bondurant-Farrar, Marion, Nevada, Newton, Solon, and South Tama, while the Panthers will have Carlisle, Centerville, Clarke, Grinnell, North Polk, Norwalk, and Saydel.

Final brackets for 1A/2A will come out this week, and 3A/4A next. All softball playoff brackets will also be released this week.
