Haley Godfrey’s triple in the bottom of the eighth secured victory for the Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad over Sigourney last night 4-3. It was Godfrey’s only hit of the night and it came at the right time. The Saints fell behind 3-0 early on, but fought back to tie it and send it to extra innings. Emilie Krpan kept Sigourney at bay by scattering six hits and striking out 15 Savages. The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad fell to Sigourney 21-2. Dalton Lovell provided the only runs for the Saints on a two run homer. Melcher-Dallas Baseball takes on Ankeny Christian while softball travels to Southeast Warren.
