A few of our area baseball squads now know who their first round opponents will be in the districts. In class 1A Twin Cedars is matched up with fellow Bluegrass Conference team Seymour. The game will take place at Moravia on July 13th. Melcher-Dallas will take on the MoHawks on July 13th. The winners will come back and play district semi-finals on July 16th with both games at Moravia. In class 2A, Pleasantville is the three seed in district 12 and will take on Colfax-Mingo in Madrid on July 13th with the winner coming back July 16th at Woodward-Granger. Pella Christian welcomes Union, La Porte City to Eagle Lane on the 13th, with the winner traveling to West Marshall on July 16th to take on PCM.
