It will be a rare quiet night at the Knoxville Raceway. For the first time in decades racing will take a week off. The usual week off during the season is the Saturday following the Knoxville Nationals to give all of the officials and drivers a week off to recover. This week is the Jackson Nationals in Minnesota at the Jackson Motorplex where many of the weekly drivers from Knoxville are running this weekend. The first two nights of action has seen Brad Sweet win on night one and Carson Macedo won last night’s feature. Action will continue at the Knoxville Raceway on Friday with the First Annual Corn Belt Nationals non-wing show. KNIA will have complete coverage of that event on Friday and Saturday with Live Track Side at five and Race Nights Live at seven.
