This is a big week for the class 2A third ranked Pleasantville Softball Squad. The Trojans look to close out the West Central Conference title with a game against Van Meter, then non-conference games against class 2A #9 East Marshall, Bondurant-Farrar, and class 4A #1 ranked Carlisle. Coach Jan Haugen tells KNIA Sports they purposely scheduled up at the end of the season to have a felling of what the regionals are going to be like. Haugen adds Carlisle called Pleasantville to schedule the game. He says it is nice to have the Highway Five Rivalry renewed for at least one season.
