The Knoxville Softball Squad gave class 4A #3 ADM all it could handle Tuesday night in a 5-4 loss to the Tigers in eight innings. Knoxville fell behind early 3-0 and it looked like ADM was going to control the game, but a run in the third by Knoxville cut the lead to 3-1. Maddy Findley provided the highlight of the night by clubbing a three run home run in the fifth to give Knoxville the lead at four/three. However, ADM changed pitchers and virtually shut down Knoxville for the rest of the game. Alex Griggs went 2/4 with a double and RBI. Ashlyn Finarty took the loss striking out five. Knoxville is off until Friday when the Panthers host Bondurant-Farrar for senior night.
