The Knoxville Baseball Squad found out its opponent in the first round of the class 3A district this week. The Panthers will take on North Polk in Alleman on July 19th. The Panthers have a good idea of how good North Polk is, and to get ready they will take on two teams from outside of the area this weekend. Forest City on Friday and perennial state power Mason City-Newman on Saturday. Coach Matt Miller tells KRLS Sports after this weekend his team should be ready for just about anything that is thrown at his team. Friday’s game is scheduled to start at three with the Saturday contest at five.
