Pella Christian opens the softball postseason tonight at home. The Eagles welcome Panorama to Eagle Lane in the Class 2A Regional opener. Pella Christian finished the regular season Friday with a sweep of Pella Christian, good for a 12-19 overall record, winning five of their last eight games. The Panthers are 11-20, winning three of their last four. Panorama is hitting .335 as a team, led by Seniors Lydia Knapp and her .495 average, with 31 RBI, and Kennedy Andersen’s .411 batting average and 33 runs driven in. However, the Panthers have a 7.52 team ERA, with a .880 team fielding percentage. Pregame coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS, with first pitch at 7 p.m. from Pella Christian High School.
