Pella Christian Senior Will Dembski continued his recent hitting tear, knocking another two home runs out of the park at Eagle Lane in a 15-5, six-inning mercy rule win over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Tuesday. Dembski’s grand slam in the 4th inning and other solo shot in the 6th give him seven in his last four games played, and extends his Class 2A home run lead to three, with 12 total on the season. Devin Haveman earned the win on the mound, giving up four unearned runs in 4 ⅓ innings, with two runs batted in as well. Cole Webster also had three runs driven in. The Eagles are 14-12 and end the regular season Thursday in a rain make-up at Oskaloosa.
