With the many visitors of RAGBRAI, the Warren County Fair, and the Balloon Classic coming up, Warren County Public Health wants to remind residents and visitors of the importance of washing hands, especially after being out in public. According to CDC guidelines, everyone should wash their hands, but those most at risk include young children, the elderly, and those with a weakened immune system. The guidelines also say to always wash your hands when touching animals or their living area, taking off dirty clothes and shoes, after using the restroom, and before preparing or eating foods.
