Melcher-Dallas made quick work of Moravia in the second round of the class 1A Softball regional last night 10-0 with the game ending in five innings as the run rule was invoked. Emilie Krpan was on her game allowing just one hit to the MoHawks with the Saints taking advantage of five Moravia errors. Angel Beaty collected two hits and three RBI. Along with giving up just one hit, Krpan also issued just one walk and fanned seven batters. The Saints are 26-5 on the season and will take on their bitter arch rival Twin Cedars in a regional semi-final Friday night.
