Today marks the start of the 2019 Marion County Fair. For the next week people in Marion County are invited to take part in and watch an array of different activities from 4H and FFA livestock judging events to gardening competitions, pet and dog shows, professional wrestling and much more. Tonight’s headline is a concert on the racetrack infield. Country music stars John Michael Montgomery and Jo Dee Messina will perform live with gates opening at 6 pm and the concert set to begin at 8 pm. Tomorrow the Introduction of the Fair Queen will be held during the Sprint Car Races and the Knoxville Extreme Enduro will be featured on Sunday. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be on hand, giving live updates on 92.1 KRLS and AM 1320 and FM 95.3 and 94.3 KNIA, playing music, making announcements, and providing local information.
