An end of season winning streak came to a halt on Friday night, as did the season, for the Pella Christian softball team in a 3-1 regional semifinals loss to Ogden, as heard live on KRLS. The Eagles fell behind early, due in part to an error in the bottom of the second. Pella Christian took advantage of two Bulldogs errors in the next frame to pull it even, but a pair of bases loaded walks in the bottom in the fourth was enough to be the difference. Cheyenne Collins gave up three runs–two earned, in the effort. Pella Christian finishes 14-20 on the softball season and says farewell to graduates Danielle Vande Voort and Ivy Terpstra.
