The Pella Police Department recently served as the host agency for the Iowa Police Chiefs Association Administrative Professionals Conference. The event was held at the Central College, Graham Annex, was attended by nearly 70 administrative professionals, and received excellent reviews from the attendees, according to the department. Lieutenants Paul Haase and Shane Cox presented on the response to the 2018 Vermeer Tornado. Other classes included information on the Iowa Public Records Act, Social Media for Your Police Department, and Defensive Tactics & Mindset.
