An Otley man faces a felony charge for possessing a firearm as a felon. Jeffrey Joseph Morgan, 50, faces one Class D felony after police say they found a gun at his property. According to court records, officers received a call of a reckless driver in the 1000 block of Coolidge Street in rural Marion County, with the reporting caller advising a suburban had driven through a ditch and cornfield and then parked at a residence nearby. Responding deputies say they found a suburban with corn stalks in the bumpers and undercarriage, and upon coming to the door, they observed a loaded .22 caliber rifle leaning outside the house.
