The final week of the Pleasantville baseball season was rather exciting for the fans. The Trojans knocked off two ranked teams in the last week of the season, Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Southeast Warren and beat class 3A Bondurant-Farrar. Coach Sheldon Card tells KNIA Sports the coaching staff will use those two games plus the class 2A district opening win over Colfax-Mingo as situations they can recall for next season when many of the less experienced players from this year will have a season of play under their belt.
