Several members of Central College’s women’s track and field team gained valuable experience by competing at a pair of national meets this spring.

In early March at the NCAA indoor track and field championships in Boston, Kennedy Morris took 13th in the weight throw, Courtney Kruthoff was 16th in the high jump, and Mary Gray finished 17th in the pentathlon.

A little over two months later at the NCAA outdoor championships in Geneva, Ohio in late May, Gillian Streit took 19th place in the discus and Emily Burt was 21st in the shot put.

Burt was a junior this past season, while the other four were sophomores for the Dutch.
