As the My Place Hotels 360 Nationals draws nearer, many drivers were running laps at the Knoxville Raceway in the 360 division looking for that extra tenth or two that could get them into the show on Saturday. One such driver that has been running laps as a 360 class rookie this season is Ryan Leavitt. Leavitt is not a rookie in the 360 Nationals as he ran a couple of years ago and now feels if he can hit the right combination in time trials, the rest of his Nationals could set up very well. He tells KRLS Sports like the stick and ball sports, he also looks at racing videos to see what other drivers are doing. Leavitt is a third generation driver at Knoxville, his grandfather won the Knoxville Nationals in back-to-back years in 1975 and 76, and his father raced at Knoxville as well. KNIA will have full coverage of the 360 Nationals starting this Thursday night. You can hear the full interview this Wednesday night on the Radio Sports Page on 92.1 KRLS.
