The number seven story for Melcher-Dallas in the 2018/2019 season is Kynser Reed making the state girls golf meet this spring. Reed qualified for the 1A state meet, which was held at the American Legion course in Marshalltown. Battling rainy and cold conditions for early June Reed had to endure delays and playing the remainder of her first round on the second day of competition. She carded a 113 and improved to a 103 in the second round.
