Australian James McFadden, who has been driving for former NASCAR Driver Kasey Kahne for most of this season, won night two of the My Place Hotels 360 Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway last night. A late race yellow set the table for McFadden as he was third on the restart behind leader Davey Heskin and second place Brian Brown. McFadden passed both of them going down the backstretch and sailed away for the win. McFadden told KRLS Sports when Heskin and Brown got to racing each other that allowed him to catch up and set up the winning move. With the win coupled with his all-around good night McFadden will start from the pole of tonight’s A-Main with last night’s third place finisher Joey Saldana on the front row. Brian Brown completed the top five and will start third in the A-Main while Paul McMahan, driving Tony Stewart’s car will start fourth. History was also made last night as Harli White became just the second female to make the 360 Nationals A-Main. White finished 11th in the feature last night and will start 15th in tonight’s championship race. White joins Erin Crocker-Evernham, who finished 19th in the 2003 Nationals as the only women to start the championship race of the 360 Nationals.
