The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session Monday. The council will hold a public hearing regarding the disposal of property located at 210 Terrace Lane in Knoxville. Following the public hearing the council will consider a resolution directing the sale of the property. They will consider a resolution in support of the Boone, Jasper, Marion And Warren Counties’ Housing Trust Fund. The fund’s purpose would be to address the affordable housing needs within the region through coordination and long-term planning. The council will consider Changer Order #11 for the Knoxville Public Library Expansion Project for labor and materials needed to replace concrete sidewalks. They will consider the purchase 700 and 800 MHz radios for the Knoxville Police and Fire Departments to match with the current radios used by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office as well as consider an agreement with ETC Institute for a community survey. The council will consider the scheduling of a special meeting date of August 12th for interviews to be conducted for the councils vacant position. Monday’s meeting will begin at 6:15 pm inside the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
