David Gravel beat 76 other drivers to claim the Bell Helmets Capitani Classic Sunday night at the Knoxville Raceway. Gravel and Brian Brown was battling for the first half of the 25 lap feature before Gravel pulled away to take the win. Gravel told KRLS Sports in victory lane he thought he had made a mistake that was going to cost him the race, but took advantage of mistake by Brown. Brown would claim second place for the second straight night and Gio Scelzi got another podium in third. Scelzi was battling for the lead early on, but jumped the cushion and never recovered. The scene for tonight and tomorrow shifts to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa for the Osky Challenges, before right back at the Knoxville Raceway for the Nos Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals this Wednesday-Saturday.
