David Gravel and Brian Brown battled for the first half of the race until Gravel could pull away and win the Capitani Classic Sunday at the Knoxville Raceway. Gravel told KNIA/KRLS News that he thought he threw away the win on a mistake halfway through the feature race but took advantage of mistake by Brown. Brown would finish in second with Gio Scelzi completing the podium.
