Trey Starks put a frustrating season behind him Wednesday night as he won the opening night of the 59th Annual Nos Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals. Starks has been running weekly at Knoxville and between the rainouts and not running well he finally got the monkey off his back with the win. Starks beat James McFadden to the line with Sheldon Haudenschild in third place. The rest of the field will run tonight and after tonight the top 16 in points will be locked into the A-Main on Saturday.
