A new era will take over the Melcher-Dallas Football program this fall as Pat Ferguson will be the head coach. Ferguson has been the Saints baseball coach for four years plus an assistant for football and boys basketball. Last year the Saints went 4-5 and return quarterback Steven Krpan, who passed for 651 yards and 15 touchdowns while Joe Branson returns as the leading rusher with 697 yards. Defensively the Saints must replace top tacklers Dalton Lovell and Ethan Harrington lost to graduation. Melcher-Dallas opens the season August 30th at home against Seymour/Moulton-Udell.
