Thrive Knoxville and the Knoxville Community School District will host guest speaker Dr. Joe Sanfelippo on Thursday, August 22nd at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. Dr. Sanfelippo is the Superintendent of the Fall Creek School District in Fall Creek, Wisconsin. He has been a featured speaker in multiple states in the areas of Advancing the Use of Social Media for School Leaders, Telling Your School Story, Creating a Culture of Yes, and Personalized Professional Growth for Staff. Knoxville School Superintendent and Thrive member, Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News Dr. Sanfelippo’s message is very simple, its how do we tell our story and celebrate our successes in a way that will lift up our schools and our community. Pearson says Dr. Sanfelippo is very energetic and entertaining and she believes people will walk away with simple things they can do to help build up our community. Dr. Sanfelippo will be speaking at 5:30 pm and the event is free and open to the public. Following his speech on Thursday, Dr. Sanfelippo will be speaking with Knoxville students on Friday, August 23rd as the district welcomes back students to the first day of school.
