After a 5-26 campaign in 2018, the PCM volleyball team has an opportunity to greatly increase their win total in 2019. Only three seniors are on this year’s roster, but a lot of returning talent from last year will be expected to take on bigger roles this season. Junior Celeste Wagaman and senior Shelby Voeller are two of the top returning players this year, and head coach Mike Vittetoe says those two will be the key players that they build around this year.

PCM finished in a tie for last place in last year’s Heart of Iowa Conference standings, but Vittetoe believes his team will be able to compete much better with a more experienced lineup. The Mustangs will open the season on August 27th at a quad tournament in Newton.
