The schedule for the Knoxville Volleyball Squad has been upgraded in the last couple of seasons. The Panthers embark on an ambitious ledger right out of the gates with three teams that either had winning seasons or are returning the bulk of their talent from last season in Carlisle ,Oskaloosa and Ottumwa. The Panthers also take a trip to Keokuk to play several class 1A and 2A teams that have made the state tournament in the last few seasons, and a head-to-head match up with Mount Pleasant who returns several key contributors. Coach Mollie Keitges tells KRLS Sports the time to just be competing with these teams has come and gone, now the Panthers want to beat some of those opponents. The Panthers also battle Pella Christian and Winterset in other head-to-head match ups this season. Knoxville’s first matches are August 26th with that quad against Carlisle, Oskaloosa and Ottumwa.
