Construction on Highway 92 will take place today in Indianola. The project, which involves milling and overlay work from Highway 5 to west of Indianola, was completed from Highway 5 to the outskirts of the City of Indianola, which was then delayed due to the RAGBRAI overnight stay, the Warren County Fair, and the National Balloon Classic. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the project is being run by IDOT, and the city has worked with them throughout the summer to make sure they are aware of all the events Indianola has had. Traffic near the construction area will be channeled into existing lanes, and delays are expected, with traffic lights on intersections placed on flashing red and a pilot car will be present to direct traffic.
