The Pleasantville football team is coming off a 3-6 season last year, and is looking to make more noise in the district this year. The Trojans went 2-3 in Class 1A District 7, but head coach Mack Jorth says his team will be able to compete much better this year than they did last year.

The Trojans return some key starters on both sides of the ball in Jorth’s second season at the helm. Pleasantville opens the season at Lynville-Sully on August 30th. District play gets underway September 27th when the Trojans host Colfax-Mingo. All Pleasantville football games this year will be streamed live on the KNIA3 stream at kniakrls.com.
